I love down hill skiing and I always envisioned that I would get to spend a spring break or two with my kids on some big slopes getting cold toes and burnt noses. I joke that my kids are going to ride on 2 boards (skis) rather than a snowboard because I don’t want to spend my day waiting to get strapped in, and burning a hill trying to hit one jump for one trick, not to mention standing around waiting for your turn. But I might have to rethink that. Thomas at 4 has figured out how to ride a plastic sled like a snowboard. Remember he isn’t strapped in and his feet aren’t big enough to reach the edges of the sled, it has to feel like riding a skateboard with butter on the bottom of your feet. But he knows how to turn it just a little and we even had to build a jump in middle of the driveway. The video is to blurry but he is trying to get some sweat air.
You know what you call a snowboarder without a girlfriend? Homeless.
